First Tech Robot Challenge

Some of our S3 pupils are involved in building a robot using a robotics kit supplied by First Tech. Ezekiel Akinde, Samuel Ferry, Gerald Magumise, Alexander Horribine, Mariama Conteh, Jayden Henderson and Mario Ciocan (or The Tech Titans), have been working on the robot after school on Fridays, along with Neve from the Hearts Innovation Centre and Mr Kirk. On April 23rd, the Tech Titans shall be taking part in a competition at the National Robotarium at Heriot Watt University. This will involve navigating their way around a zone where the robot can score points by picking up items and placing them in different places. The more tricky the place, the more points...

They will be competing against other teams from schools in Edinburgh. Wish them well!
